Vehicle to Grid “Savings” Based On Subsidised Trials–Not Real World Data
Massive subsidies – hat will of course be unsustainable especially when there are more than just a few percent of vehicles that want to do the same. But the real slammer is battery deterioration. Batteries live and die with their loading-unloading cycles and although clever software has managed to pull a lot more life out of a battery, the more often this cycles the shorter its life becomes. I am curious when the first Tesla owner starts to complain.
