Washington State blows away wind fantasies
You can sugarcoat a turd and if you mask the smell it might even look appealing for a while. But its true nature always comes through in time – and making a hearty bite will ruin your day with almost 100% certainty. The fundamental nature of wind and solar energy is that they are jittery, flickery, unreliable sources of power that produce their wares mostly when we don’t need them. Combined with the instant nature of electrical power, you cannot put enough sugar on this. Just let people have it for a while and watch what happens.
