We Are Not Learning’: Bjorn Lomborg Says Politicians Hide Behind Climate Change To Duck ‘Responsibility’ For ‘Failures

The world is not Disneyland. But that’s what many of us try to make of it. We come to dry areas and love the sunny weather but we need our lawns and pools and forests that often were not there. We are not happy with local plants and grasses because they are not what we are used to or they are complicated to manage but then we are surprised if we have created tinderboxes because those imports and artificially forested areas burn. Maybe they should not have been there in the first place. But it’s so very easy to blame something that does not even exist instead of looking at the true reasons. It won’t end the fires though.
