What Critics Get Wrong About Energy Choice
What banning certain sources of energy does is push those who can afford to out of the state into areas that are friendlier to them. And the patchwork of regulation usually makes the entire state pretty unattractive as those who leave are those who also pay the most taxes. I would have thought that more politicians would have understood this so far but when I look at some states (yes, it’s you California) that does not hold water. There are still sparks of sanity though and there will be more. Zero carbon has overplayed its hand.
