What If We Had Subsidized Nuclear Power Like Renewables?
Anything that depends on subsidies is unsustainable in the long term as eventually, any government will run out of not only its own people’s money but even of the virtual money that we have to pay back through inflation. energy options should be unsubsidized and the subsidies only serve to conceal the real cost of something from public view. Renewables are mighty expensive and yet, advocates get to claim it’s cheap because so much of its real cost is concealed from view. Oh besides, nuclear power is so darn expensive because every project needs to feed an army of useless consultants.
