What Price Will WTI Oil Be at End-2021?
When I worked for a gas trading company, we had a wager running every week. Up until a certain date and time every week everyone could drop a bid for what the oil price is going to be a few days later. The one who came closest won the pot. The all-time winner of most pots was not a trader. Or an analyst. Or the weirdos from strategy. It was an assistant who spent her time doing clerical work and fetching coffee. Predictions are no better than reading chicken bones.
