What will we get for a multitrillion-dollar energy policy?
The sad part is that not only will the Trillions largely be wasted – wasted in a way that burning it in a bonfire would make more sense. No, for this money industrial ruins will be built that will have to be removed costing further billions, and additionally, the competitive base of the United States will be fundamentally broken. It will shred whatever remains of American industries to bits. That being said, I expect fierce opposition by states and from 2022 on by both chambers of Congress.
