LNG is living through a strange period. Unprecedented growth and forays into domains that were exclusive to oil so far on one side but rampant oversupply and low prices plus massive market disruption on the other. It will take some creative business models and hard entrepreneuring in order to push it to the next level. Souki is certainly one of the most illustrious figures in LNG, but he is also an infamous one. He realized the impossible but he also burned through mountains of cash. And he certainly has gotten himself a challenge with Tellurian. Buyer beware.
