Why Bill Gates Thinks It’s Time to End Subsidies for Wind and Solar Power
Bill has built a world champion business with his wits, his guts, and his stamina. He knows that anything that lives on the dole has no incentive to perform. So, let the wild spirits of renewable energy compete on a level playing field with all others. Ain’t that what th renewable folks always wanted? They claim they are the cheapest – let’s give them the opportunity to prove it. Strip them off all subsidies – direct ones and indirect ones. And make them bar all the costs they produce.
