I have lived in Paris for 8 years. I loved every single year of it but it’s also a drivers hell. But public transport is far from being efficient or even safe. Transforming Paris from what it is today into a car-less city is indeed going to monumental – but seeing is believing. Let’s see how Mrs. Hidalgo fares when drivers realize that their cherished cars are going to be banned. Parisians love their voitures.
