Will France Leave the Paris Agreement in 2022?

That would be the coolest thing ever. Paris agreement without France in it. But it’s not so crazy. The more immediate and interesting election will be from September 2021 though. Germany will vote for a new parliament and their openly climate realist party is set for substantial gains. If they do, will other parties still conspire to keep them out of power? It’s a self-defeating policy.

Marine Le Pen, who once described climate change as the “new religion of the bobo” (bohemian bourgeoisie), has a real chance of becoming the next French President in 2022.
