Will the Colonial Episode Spur a Pipeline Rethink?
Pipelines are still the safest and most economic mode of transport for large volumes of bulk commodities that can be transported this way. As long as no geographical features make this economically punishing. And this comes from a guy who is the one big cheerleader for LNG. There won’t be a rethink. But there should maybe be some contingency planning, some distributed storage, some backup on truck and rail, or a building computer program from this millennium.
