Any sensible entrepreneur tries to gauge the market for how much demand there might be. Needless to invest good money when there is no market. Ponzi schemes don’t ever do that. They always assume that the market will always be there and rip whatever they produce out of their hands and they also assume that any price will always be paid. Of course, there is also a ceiling on by how much people can be robbed. But a Ponzi scheme does not see that. So they must hit the ceiling by force of their very nature and the only thing left when that happens is squealing and finger-pointing. They will never want to understand that they have been as useless as an elbow on the forehead to begin with.

It takes real audacity for the most heavily subsidised ‘industry’ on earth, to demand even more. And it takes real courage for the governments who have been handing out massive subsidies, without q…
