World’s first hydrogen train enters regular passenger service in Austria
See whats possible with an endless stream of cash from the taxpayer? The Austrian rail service ÖBB has swallowed billions in subsidies every year for as long as I live and longer. They alone are responsible for a good chunk of Austria’s total debt. But it’s never enough – let’s play with impossibly expensive toys. I bet we will never see the real figures on this one but again, no news.
