World’s largest offshore wind farm ‘unprofitable’, government-funded report confirms
It is incredibly easy for politicians to lie as they have no consequences to fear. Even if exposed to be lying on live television, they just sit there with a stone face and keep talking and it works. What is their incentive to not lie? There is none. So they will do it all the time as it gets them everything they ever want. We need to have structures in place that hold politicians responsible with painful consequences when they are exposed to be lying. That will be a hard task as we need to distinguish between honest errors and malice but we need to have an earnest stab at it.
