Wrong, Des Moines Register, Fewer Blizzards Would Be a Benefit of Climate Change

One look at population patterns around the globe will immediately tell you that vast parts of our world are nearly uninhabited. We humans squeeze together in a tiny portion of it. The reason is clear – when climate makes life difficult we won’t find too many people living there. And those who do will need extensive and expensive support from the outside for a semblance of normal life. Just recently a family was found in the Siberian taiga that has lived there for generations unknown to the authorities. Their multi-generation history showed more than one hunger dead. Our current climate is far from optimal. The warm periods were always times when life thrived. All life.
