Yes, it’s cold. Yes, the planet’s still warming.

Do you feel stupid yet? How does it feel when you were told for decades that we are warming towards the boiling point, that snow is a thing of the past, that heating will be superfluous as we will all burn, that the world is going to roast – and then you go out and almost freeze to death and can’t find your car as it’s covered in snow? How does this hit you? Because it’s not only now but we have been living the contradiction of a cult telling us the contrary of what happens in the real world for many years. Will there be a point of awakening? Or will people shudder because their heat pumps don’t work and still claim we are roasting? Humans are weird.
