Young People want Climate Action More than Money
They don’t want the money. they only want the things and the services money can buy. Sure, when dad provided funding for your every whim and you reached adulthood without ever having put in true work for your cash, it won’t matter all that much to you. When and where I had my childhood, we occasionally had some kids with rich parents as well, but most of us had to be creative to lay our hands on some hard money, more so for the paper kind. Take today’s kids’ iPhones and Macs away, cut their unlimited internet subscription, and make them pay for food and shelter. Let’s see what remains of the lofty goals.
