Is school as we know it torture?

I had a problem with the school system in my country long before COVID. With a handicapped child, you face a stark choice. Either your kid is being pressed into a mold or it is broken. Homeschooling was our solution. Not easy, a monstrous amount of work but it paid off. Should parents have a greater role in the education of their children? Enjoy this 8 year old article.
