Cyborg, android - where are we headed?

When I held my first iPad in my hands I was awestruck. It was an incredible thing to play with its most simple features. My kids grew up with it. If there are not the latest blockbuster apps on it they won't even bat an eyelid. I don't know if that is a good thing but we are changing and there is no way out.
