My generation grew up with the overarching theme of “Free Trade”. Borders were evil, barriers between nations were to be removed, the free flow of people, goods, and services was the mantra we all had shaped our convictions after. But it was not all fun and laughter. Free Trade brought massive distortions and a virus made those distortions painfully clear. Here is how that could be fixed.
